![]() An absolute adventure game classic, that fits comfortably alongside the Lucasarts classics. The company also got a lot less personal (they were very close to the community before this, and it was a lot of fun actually talking to the writers and designers after every episode, and finding out about hidden details and deleted scenes/alternative ideas - that just doesn't happen anymore). While I still enjoyed the games they made after this, this marked the end of the glory years for me. Sam & Max Season 3 - The Devil's Playhouse - I enjoyed the first two seasons a lot at the time, but this one was the result of years of working on these games, and it showed. I've even played the obscure stuff like their CSI games and Law & Order (which actually has some surprisingly fun gameplay mechanics, regardless of the rather boring stories and ugly graphics). I've played them all over the years (followed them since the the second Bone game and the first Sam & Max episodes).
